CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT - FLAT FEE INDIVIDUAL LOCATES
These terms and conditions are effective for all assignments submitted from beginning July 18, 2012 and until amended by notice in these terms and conditions. This is an agreement between the assigning Child Support Unit and Associates in Forensic Investigations, LLC. Please print this page for your records.
FLAT FEE INDIVIDUAL LOCATE - NO FIND NO FEE
Not every case warrants the efforts that we can assist with, and it is important to be conscientious of both the financial and practical considerations of success for a high Return on Investigation (ROI). We recommend, at your discretion, these specific cases that require specific attention, efforts and methodology have a cumulative minimum of:

This program is available to any Child Support Enforcement Unit in all counties of Colorado. This program is not available outside of Colorado; however, these will be considered on a case by case basis subject to fee adjustments. This program is not available to private citizens.
Receipt of all assignments and supporting documents will be confirmed within one business day. Completion is estimated to be between 5 and 10 business days. If a confirmation of the assignment is not received by the client, please call our office - and you are welcome to any time to review any cases and criteria. Our office number is (970) 480-7793.
The program, and Terms and Conditions, are subject to change with a 30 day notice to the CSE Units.
FLAT FEE INDIVIDUAL LOCATE - NO FIND NO FEE
Not every case warrants the efforts that we can assist with, and it is important to be conscientious of both the financial and practical considerations of success for a high Return on Investigation (ROI). We recommend, at your discretion, these specific cases that require specific attention, efforts and methodology have a cumulative minimum of:
- Arrears have accumulated on one or more children for greater than 18 months;
- Arrears have accumulated an aggregate of $3,000 or more; and
- Recent internal Child Support Enforcement Unit attempts to locate and/or serve have been within 18 months.
This program and fee structure is available to Child Support Enforcement Units only:
- Found $300
- Not Found - No Fee (no time or expenses)
Found is defined by this agency as:
- A new residential and/or employment address verified as having been current within the most recent 30-days preceding the date of the issued written report. Due to the transient nature of those indebted to child-support, we cannot verify an address to a specific date or beyond the date of the issued written report.
- The same, as provided by the client, residential and/or employment address verified as having been current within the most recent 30-days preceding the date of the issued written report is considered an address verification. This is considered 'Found' due to the process, time and expenses necessary in these types of skip trace investigations.
- A new residential and/or employment address verified has having been current within the most recent 30-days preceding the date of the issued written report that is sufficient for the purpose of service of process by publication in a newspaper designated by the client. An affidavit in support of such publication is $75, this fee is not included in the flat fee program.
Not Found is defined by this agency as:
- A residential and/or employment address verified as being no longer in use by the Respondent.
- A residential and/or employment address, in use by the Responded within the most recent 30-days preceding the conclusion of the investigation is unable to be determined and/or verified.
REQUIRED INFORMATION FROM THE CLIENT
The client agrees that the following information will be provided. Incomplete information incurs a $25 additional fee.
- Full name and names used
- Date of Birth and Social Security Number
- History of addresses (all known), including relatives and phone numbers (email addresses would be helpful)
- History of employment and employment type
- History of Child Support Enforcement Unit and other resources used to locate and serve the Respondent
- Colorado Driver License dossier and history (the dossiers are one of the resources not yet available to private investigators, driving records are)
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
- A written report detailing verified personal identifiers and any new residential and/or employment address verified as having been current (above) is provided in the included fees.
- An affidavit requested in addition to the issued written report is $75 (i.e. for service by publication). 10 days notice is required.
- Testimony, in person or by telephone, is billed at the discounted agency rate of $95 per hour (regular $125 per hour) plus expenses and per diem, for all communications, consultations, testimony, document drafting, research, standby and travel. 30 days notice is required.
