Associates in Forensic Investigations LLC is in Wyoming

Associates in Forensic Investigations LLC has expanded and is headquartered in Cheyenne, Wyoming – now serving southern Wyoming and northern Colorado; and all surrounding areas.  As required, and to maintain the professional integrity of licensure and consumer protection, we are now licensed in Cheyenne, as well as bonded and insured as private investigators and security services.  Wyoming does not have state licensing and Cheyenne is the only local jurisdiction to require licensing.  We look forward to our expanding our personal and professional lives to Cheyenne.

We continue to provide our services primarily nationally as expert consultants in death and injury causation, and our legal investigations in Colorado - and now Wyoming.

Our contact information for Wyoming is:

PI Ethics and Morals
Thanks to our friends at PursuitMag.com for posting 'Legal Pitfalls, Ethical Perils, and Moral Quandaries for Professional Investigators' at http://pursuitmag.com/ethical-legal-moral-private-investigators

As professional investigators, we have certain legal, ethical, and moral obligations. The problem is: not everybody agrees on what those are.

For apprentice investigators and veterans alike, our legal obligations lie at the foundation of everything we do. But ethical and moral professional behavior reside in murkier areas, with very unclear boundaries.

You can also download our
FREE Ethics Book for PIs and Attorneys.  The value and importance of our professional ethics cannot be overstated. Ethics are often seen as morals, they are not, though one will impact the other. Morals behavioral guides that are personal and individualistic. Ethics are rules of behavior for an individual through a group – such as an association or profession.

Associates in Forensic Investigations LLC meets Wyoming Congregation for the National Council of Investigation & Security Services at Hit the Hill

Associates in Forensic Investigations LLC (AFI-LLC), is pleased to share its success in participating in the annual 'Hit the Hill' event for the National Council of Investigation & Security Services (NCISS).  Dean A. Beers, CLI, CCDI, represented AFI-LLC and, being new to Wyoming, met with the offices of Senators John Barrasso, MD and Mike Enzi, and also Representative Cynthia Lummis.  Dean visited with the Wyoming congregation as part of the annual 'Hit the Hill' event for the National Council of Investigation & Security Services (www.NCISS.org) to discuss legislation and regulation that may impact our professions and those we can support and assist with.

Dean had the pleasure of meeting Legislative Assistant for Rep. Lummis and her Legislative Assistant Will Carraco (unfortunately Rep. Lummis was unavailable, as she was chairing a hearing at that time), Sen. Mike Enzi and his Senior Legislative Assistant Travis Jordan, and Sen. John Barrasso and his Legislative Assistant Charles Ziegler in Washington DC earlier this week.  Dean will be meeting Rep. Lummis in Cheyenne at a later date.

Dean represented AFI-LLC, and also NCISS as the 3rd Vice President, to discuss legislation and regulation that may impact the investigative and security professions, including those NCISS can support and assist with.  Issues discussed included consumer privacy protection and how private investigators play an integral role, background checks, proposed minimum wages and union voting rules, and several other key issues.

We are very proud to be a new addition to Wyoming!

Together We're Better - We Make the Difference!

About NCISS:
The National Council of Investigation and Security Services, Inc., (NCISS - www.NCISS.org), is a cooperative effort of those companies and associations responsible for providing private security and investigation services to the legal profession, business community, government and the public. Each day we find an increasing number of problems confronting the orderly growth of our profession. These problems include, among others: overly restrictive legislation regarding training and standards, proliferation of legislation requiring local licensing, public misunderstanding and misinformation on the role and contribution of private investigators and security services, and an uninformed media. It is the role of NCISS to meet and solve these problems while seeking to uncover and recommend action on any hidden potential problems which may have an effect on our profession.
